Moon Dragon Dojo cultivates self-discipline, persistence, and fitness of the mind, body, and spirit.

Welcome! Our style is Cuong Nhu, which means “hard/soft” and is a blend of Shotokan Karate, Wing Chun, Vovinam, Aikido, Judo, Taiji, and boxing. We practice forms, basic techniques and self-defense, grapple, spar, break boards, and train with various weapons. Cuong Nhu is a complete martial arts system — always a good challenge and never boring!

Classes are taught by experienced black belts who take pride in the quality of training and the personalized attention given to our students. The senior instructors have been teaching martial artists for over 30 years.

Think you’re too old or out of shape to do Cuong Nhu?
No way! We have a wide range of ages (kids starting at age seven) and abilities in our school and are very careful with our necks, shoulders, backs, and knees. Every student trains to their physical limits and progresses at their own pace.

I have been attending Moon Dragon Dojo now for over one year. I just turned 65, was initially concerned with my ability to fit in. Everyone made me feel very comfortable, your training is self-paced, and it’s a great learning and fitness experience. I take sincere pride in my accomplishments, with the help of my classmates and Master Allyson, who is absolutely terrific. Young or old, this is the place to gain knowledge, increase self-confidence and skills, and have a lot of fun.
